Mandatory profile not loading with group policy profile folder redirection

Using Server 2003, we redirect certain users' profiles to a network share. We also want users to use a mandatory profile stored in another folder on the same share. When a user logs in, a default profile is loaded instead of the mandatory profile. How can we get the mandatory profile to load initially?

Is there anything in the PROFILE PATH box in the Profile Tab of the user in Active Directory?
