Logged several failures with the web proxy. Always seems to be the same machine (gentoo).

Fixed. A content switch failed to reboot correctly. It was up and running and reporting all was fine but in fact it was not. All should be fine now.

have just tried the Lancsngfl tec forum (Wednesday 9.00) and it appears to be down, or is this a separate issue?

Looks like the web server can't talk to the database server. Either the database server is down or there's a network issue preventing them from communicating.

 

So to answer your question, maybe.
