ITBOB Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 I'm trying to install Solus3 and am having problems registering our site. I believe its to do with the proxy settings. I'm using the staff proxy on the SWGFL. Do I need to get any ports opened up by SWGFL to allow registration?
matt40k Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Assume it's prefixed with http:// and you've entered a valid address, port and user\pass?
ITBOB Posted June 2, 2011 Author Posted June 2, 2011 Yes double checked all the settings. I'm now just getting an error that states Solus is unable to match establishment number to postcode. I am sure these are correct. My suspicion is the proxy settings or firewall and I'm just getting this error because it can't connect to verify the details. The only firewall that would stop traffic is the SWGFL one. Do I need to request specific ports to be open or will it just use port 8080 to verify the details and get the updates?
matt40k Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 No it's not a proxy issue, nor do you need ports opening. I would check your details on edubase - Home You are entering it like: 9354321 IP1 1AA
ITBOB Posted June 2, 2011 Author Posted June 2, 2011 Thanks for the link. I've double checked and everything is correct. Still nothing. Have been waiting for Capita to call me back since 9am. I really want to get this finished and everything updated before everyone returns next week. Any other ideas?
matt40k Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 If could PM what you've entered I'll check it out just to confirm if it is a proxy issue (normally it tells you) or a details issue. 1
