round2it Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 (edited) can someone point me in the right direction of the policy i need to set that stops limited users browing the c drive trough office and other programs that have a file open box eg c is hidden but if users try c: in a file open dialogue box they can browse the c drive any ideas my policy for xp is working but windows 7 is still allowing access Edited May 25, 2011 by round2it
mrbios Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 "Prevent access to drives from My Computer" is what you want, it's in the same location as hiding them under administrative templates > windows components > windows explorer 1
