How do I add 64bit printer drivers to Server 2003

Hello,

 

I have tried a few methods for adding 64bit printer drivers to our win2003 server that currently has them in 32bit but it never seems to work. The last time I tried it wiped out all the 32bit drivers, lol.

 

Could some kind soul give me a list method for doing this obviously keeping the 32bit drivers as is.

You could go to an ordinary 64bit PC, print management, print servers, your print server, drivers, and then add the 64bit drivers there.

You should be able to use the print management console on the print server. The trick is the x64 driver has to have the exact same name as the x32 driver that is already installed. The versions can be different, but not the name.
