Alternative to Net Support Tools

I am looking for a system to give similar functionality to the Net Support offering.

 

Having just had a telephone quote for the software, it is too expensive for us.

 

Is anyone aware of any alternative and less expensive products.

 

We want to be able to lock screens, display user screens on the IWB, broadcast user screens to the rest of a class, shutdown a PC etc.......

Did you haggle? NetSupport is very good, and is worth your persevering to drive a good price.

I'm aware of LanSchool and ABtutor, But I haven't used them.

Thanks to all who have replied, I will have a look at those.

 

Hightower - I guess that using a search facility would have given me a list of software packages but asking for advice, on a forum, from experts in the field who have used the software is my preference.

I'd advise haggling with Netsupport. It's a good product, and I know they're always willing to do a deal

i moved to lanschool as i got 2 classrooms of 30 pcs for about 250 quid (migration pricing)

 

netsupport are just stupid money now
