Evening guys,

Recently found a couple of "splodges" on the right hand side of my HP Pavilion dv7 screen. It looks like maybe some liquid has seeped in but I don't know.

If it is, would it be easy to sort myself or is it best to take it somewhere? I wouldn't mind taking it apart and doing it if it was easier.

Cheers!

If it is not on the outside service of the screen it cowell be delamination where the glue that holds the layers of the LCD pannel together fails, had this on a few old HP laptops and a few toshibas. Warrenty repair or replacement are the only ways foward that I found.

Safer bets as well because if you try and do it and make it worse or stops working etc then warranty = voided
