Folder permissions

Hey people just a quick question what permissions do I need to deny from people deleting or moving a folder???? But have access to write and add files to the folder any help would be much appreciated thanks in advance

i dont think you can as suh as a move is a write. best i can come up with is create a hidden file in the folder and lock that down to just admins then they shouldnt be able to delete the folder not sure about move though

Generally speaking, set deny permission for delete and write on the folder but allow them to create files write data.

This can be done buy setting deny on the delete section of the Advanced Security Settings for any ntfs folder. It will alow users to add to a folder but not ammend or delete any files already there.
