We're using Exchange 2007 here and we're looking at the possibility of having pupils emailing an attachment to an email address which is then extracted and put into a specific folder for a teacher to access?

Is there anything out there that can do such a thing or does anyone have any suggestions as to how this can be done?

In theory you could enable imap/pop for the mailbox and use php/asp to poll the mailbox and do the actions. Put it in a scheduled task and your done. Also I think sharepoint 2010 can do this sort of thing.

Hi

1. Why not have the email sent to the teacher, teacher can use an Outlook rule to put email into a folder of their choice in their mailbox.

2. Use Public Folders as mentioned above. Create a public folder, mail-enable this folder, provide email to students, students email, teacher accesses public folder.

3. Use Sharepoint (if this is deployed)
