Our pupils are creating websites using Dreamweaver and they are having problems when they are trying to view the webpages.

If they double click on the html file and try to open it, Google.co.uk loads which is what we set as their homepage.

We've created a simple html file with nothing more than text and still get the same result when logged on as a pupil. When logged on as using a staff account this does not happen.

If we open IE prior to opening the html file it works.

Any ideas?

It appears to be a problem opening the files from a UNC path. If the user opens it by going into their My Documents folder which is redirected to \\servername\pupils\username for example it doesn't work. If the user opens the same file by going into My Computer and selecting the U drive (in our case) it works fine.

I just don't know why....
