Windows 7 Shutdown/Power issue

Hi all,

 

Have a bit of an issue with a large number of Windows 7 computers we have deployed, all of which are Dell (Various Latitude and Precision models). When shutting down it appears everything shutsdown but there is still power going to the laptop, the only way around it is to get around this is to hold the finger on the power button, i am quite certain the hard disk has stopped spinning.

 

We are trialling SP1 and still getting the issue (Windows 7 Ultimate x86 and x64)

 

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
