projector1 Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Our 2003 r2 32bit server has two nics, one to iscsi san via hp 2810 switch and one to core switch. I have installed a daul port intel pt 1000 card. The aim is to have two ports to the core switch (teamed) As ms iscsi iniator software does not support teaming only one nic will go to the san switch. However on the teaming tab of the new cards nics i get the message " This adapter is configured for an Intel® iSCSI Remote Boot image. You cannot use this adapter in a team." Is teaming not possible even if the nics are not part of the iscsi san?
