contink Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 We've got a couple of Samsung laptops that are ok for what we need them to do but could desperately use a RAM upgrade as well as a hard drive replacement. I'm pretty sure I can sort the hard drive easily enough but the RAM is located somewhere within the body so rather than poke around with a screwdriver I thought I'd ask if anyone has come across this model before: nv25cpz005/suk .. it's part of the laptop for teachers scheme so I'm guessing someone has seen one so if you have any insight into the machine it'd be appreciated.

HDD has one, CD Rom has one... RAM.. nada.

Try flipping the laptop upside down and look on the bottom for a screw holding the keyboard in, loosen that, turn the laptop back over and open it then gently lift the keyboard back and away - the memory modules are probably covered by a banking plate somewhere easily(!) accessible under that.
