SCAS Co-ordinator (SIMS)

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Salary: £32,800 - £35,400

Hours: 37 hours per week

Temporary/secondment opportunity for 12 months.

 

As part of the SCAS* team within Customer Services of West Sussex County Council, your principal duties will be to deliver consultancy, training and support to West Sussex Schools in the effective use of their Information Management Systems (SIMS).

The main focus of this post will be modules used by secondary schools, in particular, the Timetable Suite, Assessment Manager/Performance Analysis and Exams Organiser.

 

An in depth understanding of the SIMS software system is essential, with emphasis on training and advising schools on constructing their timetable using Nova T6 and Options.

Ideally you should hold a teaching or training qualification, or relevant experience, and experience at management level in an educational environment, preferably within a secondary school.
