Moving Dart Maths

Im trying to move Dart Maths between Servers. It basically runs as a website with a database backend. Everything seems identical on both servers but I get an error when I click on the link to the login page and it is not displayed.

All permissions and files are inplace so I cant quiete see whats wrong.

If no answers are forthcoming I will do a fresh install and copy over the top of it.

how is the database accessed? is it php? Have you enabled php

i'm having issues doing the same with dart maths. i recently put it onto our new server. but i get the default page fine but as soon as click on any of the links i get an asp error, which sounds like it can't find the file but the file it needs or looking for is there!

 

any help would be much appreciated!

Anyone got a resolution for this? I'm having the exact same problem and am running in circles getting nowhere with a solution!

 

Problem: DartMaths moved to new IIS server running ASP.net 1, 2 or 4. Frontpage loads but subsequent login pages display a '500: Internal Error'. All permissions and directory paths look 100%.

I cannot remember whether I resolved this or not. I may have just started from scratch. Have you installed a fresh copy then tried copying the files over the top? I am sure it may be more complicated than that depending on the database used etc.

The Maths department have moved onto web resources now so I don't think it is used any more.

The maths department have managed to loose the installer disk! Grrrr. Our only option is to relocate it.
