plugged_in Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Hey all I thought i would share this with you all since you see im such a nice person. M$ are giving people the chance to particpate in their live anywhere system. Even if you hate m$ you can not stop to know this is going to be big. Are you interested in being part of a select group that is invited to help beta test a new service that lets Windows gamers connect with their friends on the Xbox through the LIVE gaming network? Enjoy https://connect.microsoft.com/site/sitehome.aspx?SiteID=363
CHR1S Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 I tried to sign up...... the form crashed every time
MK-2 Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 I don't see how the PC - X360 link-up will work well. Every 360 will have the same hardware spec, same settings in game (to a degree), the only real difference will be the size of TV/monitor you are running. But no two PC's are going to be the same. I can see a lot of lag and packet loss for PC gamers in 360 games.
plugged_in Posted February 28, 2007 Author Posted February 28, 2007 I guess this is why its still in beta to see what can be done. But hey if it means i get to play halo3 or halowars before it hits the shelf then rock on m$
CHR1S Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Weird, second time I did it was a completly different form to fill out... lol You have been accepted to Games for Windows – Live Application Process and your status is Active. Nice
plugged_in Posted February 28, 2007 Author Posted February 28, 2007 Nice nice. Now we can play our xbox counter parts at work... ahem i mean on our pcs at home.
Irazmus Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 No problems here either. Let's see if we can get all our members in the beta ^^
tarquel Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I signed up as I got a invite from MS.... although I doubt I'll get picked as I have dont have a x360 [or a live account] lol But I do have a PC and the idea is that players on PC's can play against players on X360 [and vice versa] so you never know hehe Cheers Nath.

plugged_in Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 Joostâ„¢ is a new way of watching TV on the internet, which uses new and established technologies to provide the best of both the internet and TV worlds. We're in the process of making it as TV-like as we can, with programmes, channels and adverts. You can also see some things that we think will enhance the TV experience: searching for programmes and channels, for example, as well as social features like chat. http://joost.com/FAQ.html PM me your email address and i will give an invitation
