Dr Fox recounts the tale of one doctor who had scribbled TTFO - an expletive expression roughly translated as "Told To Go Away" - on a patient's notes

Well phrased BBC, well phrased. In the same way STFU is "Please quieten your voice a bit kind sir" and RTFM is "Have you perchance had a minute to read the instruction booklet that came with said appliance?"

I knew of quite a few of these - my aunt is a Ward Sister..hehe...some I really rather like!

Code Yellow - a patient who has lost control of his or her bladder

DFKDFC - Don't fscking know, don't fscking care

Departure lounge - geriatric ward

LOBNH - Lights On But Nobody Home

I think I just found some new quick-answers to keep "Layer 8 Error" company on the helpdesk..
