Anyone heard of this MIS? Have any experience of it? I've never seen it mentioned before but out HM has the company coming to talk to us tomorrow about their systems.

That might be why i'm struggling to find out about them. You have it, do you rate it?

Was Engage not the name given to an authority wide share point implementation delivered by LP+

It's OK. Their support varies from the fantastic to the god-awefull. They moved our database over to a new server effortlessly, but trying to perform a simple support request is a right chew.

 

The product is perfectally good, there are a few little niggles but nothing terrible. The company are pants at letting us know when there is an update, and the notes they provide listing the changes are usually poor - every update tends to fix three problems and cause 2 more, and one of them is a setting that's been changed to or from a default and is entirely absent from the notes.

 

Overall - Not too bad

The key thing is to remember their not Capita. Some bits are better, for instance they are quite good at sorting out unique solutions and some things are quite bad, they dont always follow trends seen elsewhere using bigger software.

 

Overall I found them ok, more personal than most companies and they didn't fill me with dread like some software.
