Just saw this advertised on local papers website. Thought someone might be interested. I went there for an interview for an I.T. tech a few years ago, seemed ok.

£28,636 - £33,661 per annum

 

A full time I.T. Network Manager is required to start on the 1st April 2011.

 

Hours of work: 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 8.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Friday.

 

The postholder will be required to:-

 

To maintain and develop the school's IT networks

To support effective teaching and learning throughout the School and feeder primary schools

To play an important role in the developments, use and integration of ICT within the school and network.

You will have experience and knowledge of working in a Server 2008, Windows 7 and Office 2010 environment.

 

Previous experience with Virtualisation using Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft Failover Clustering using Microsoft Failover Cluster Manager is essential.

Hmm - bit of a cut and paste job - there arent any 'feeder primaries' as such...it is in a pyramid with Ferndown First - Recep to Yr 4 (where I used to work before I took Jiser's old job!) and Ferndown Middle - Yrs 5-8.

Dorset have recently begun the consultation to return to the two tier system that will mean that Ferndown Upper would start at year 7 - but that will be several years down the line.
