Plasc File Filtering

I have the current PLASC file (School Census) and I am trying to filter it so I am left with just the Year 9 information but the filter program reports that it did not find any pupil records. I have open up the xml file and checked and there is definatly student details in it.

 

Help PLEASE!!!!!!!

I have just found out that the Plasc filtering tool no longer works and the APS server will do it for me AHhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you sure or can someone confirm this, Secondly what gonna happen with old student data if someone want to keep record.

I had a lot of probs with the plasc file - in the end I just did a sims export, jigged the data and imported it into QCA

 

Was this a bad move? No doubt I'll soon find out
