Busybub Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Don't suppose anybody has experience of how students are able to change the background when it has been specified in policy and prevent changing background has been enabled? Haven't had a problem with this in 6 years and came in today to find that one of the little darlings changed the background to a picture of a man being set on fire, which disappeared when the computer was restarted.
marc2510 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 this can be done when a pupils opens an image in picture viewer and clicks on set as background. this can be disabled by using active desktop images via gpo thats from the top of my head 1
Busybub Posted February 14, 2011 Author Posted February 14, 2011 Gave that a go on a test account and even though the option is there it has no effect. Already set a background and diabled changes.
chazzy2501 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 You have to remove the ability in IE as well. 1
Busybub Posted February 14, 2011 Author Posted February 14, 2011 You have to remove the ability in IE as well. Already is. Option is greyed out as it has already been disabled in user config/admin templates/desktop, and control panel
