WBAdmin Failed to create System State backup ?

Hi Everyone,

 

is there any way to create automated script to backup system state on my Windows Server 2008 using WBAdmin into D drive inside a directory ?

 

I tried numerous time but it is still failed like the following script on cmd prompt.

 

C:\Users\Administrator>wbadmin START SYSTEMSTATEBACKUP -backuptarget:D:\Admin\Backup
wbadmin 1.0 - Backup command-line tool

I may be wrong here but I'm fairly sure you can't have the backup location as a folder in this instance. You have to specify the Drive Letter only. Perhaps you could make a script to run the backup to the D: drive and then, when it's complete, move it to a directory if that is absolutely vital.
