Inventry Software

So I knew Visionsoft had gone under and my licence of Visaul Audit was about to expire. What I didn't realise was that the sfotware would totaly stop working!

 

So after sulking for a day I got to thinking, what should I replace it with? And thus I need some suggestions. I've got Spiceworks but to be honest I don't like it as much as I did visual audit. I find it a bit clunky (love the helpdesk though).

 

So any recomendations? Free is good but I don't mind paying a little.

Set the clock back on your pc to give you some time to export the db or something?

Was the reason it stopped working due to expiry date of licence or actually Visionsoft going bust?

 

My X4 licence doesnt expire (think we took out one of their lifetime subs)

 

Alternatives?

Well i use Spiceworks as well as X4 - i agree not as good but obviously free!

we use a program called inventoria... Inventory Management Software & Stock Control we use it to keep track of printer toners, projector lamps, dvds & cd's and also paper!

its a nice little program!

are you after something which cans the network and reports back or just something you can input information into?

I am looking for some inventory software as well. I don't know about the OP but I could use a good recommendation for something that you can input information into.
