Deploying VLC with Preference

VLC Media Player is easy enough to deploy. I can launch a silent installation using the command "vlc-1.1.7-win32.exe" /S

 

What I would like to know is whether or not there is a way to deploy custom preferences with the install. Some annoyances are the prompt that comes up at first launch, "Allow media display art..." or something along those lines and the "Check for Updates" prompt.

 

So, does anyone know if there is a way to set your own custom preferences?

I copy a preconfigured vlcrc file to APPDATA%\vlc\vlcrc as part of a login script to deal with the update prompt etc..
