ful56_uk Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 hello having a problem with out autoloader. backup exec can pick it up and the changer is set to unknown in the device manager. when you try to run anything on the auto load it just put the job to queued but there is nothing in the queue apart from the job i have just tried to run. any ideas, also what mode does the autoloader need to be in?
Hightower Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Has the autoloader ever worked, or are you just configuring it for the first time now? How does the autoloader connect to the backup server?

ful56_uk Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 firmware on autoloader, i think the autoloader needs to be on random mode in order for it to work with backup exec 2010, you can run test with the hp tools which work fine
