How many of you guys are still using IE6 and for those that are, why have you chosen not to upgrade?

We still have it on our Citrix far, and a few machines, only just been able to upgrade to IE7 for our national applications.

why are you not on IE8?

Reasons we see often for not moving away from IE6 is down to compatibility with applications/sites that are business critical.

 

ThinApp (and probably Camayo) are making ways around this more possible which is nice.

My husband works for a big financial services company. They upgraded everyone from IE6 to IE8 last Thursday!

We've moved to Ie8. And will probs move to 9 next summer (enless any major issues once released) with win 7.

Some of the national applications that are used within the NHS do not work properly on IE8 last I was told hence why we could not upgrade. We have big use of smartcards linked back on a national system and its all to do with that from what I am told. I am not involved in that side of things much any more so not sure on the detail but that is the basics what I gathered.

 

Still got issues with some applications running IE7, loads of tweaks to be done to get it working!

Oh and I've tried IE9 in BETA and our email system doesn't like it!
