zx2012 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 What cables do we need to connect a Wii to our VGA projector and our sound mixer?
plexer Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Does your projector not have composite in as well? Ben
Ulkary Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 (edited) I will assume your projector is installed on the ceiling? and you have the VGA already ran? For the video you just need a composite to VGA adapter or converter, you can get them cheap. Audio depends on your mixer inputs, but you can get a converter from the composite on your wii to pretty much anything. Edited February 2, 2011 by Ulkary
CESIL Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Where do you place the receiver bar when used like this? By coincidence I have been asked to setup a Wii up in the hall using the ceiling mounted projector and a very large drop down screen. Does the receiver need to be close to the screen? I have used a PS2 with a projector and whiteboard very successfully but the interactive nature of the Wii makes a difference I guess?
SimpleSi Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Where do you place the receiver bar when used like this On the wall just below bottom of screen Si
plexer Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 The bar is just a bunch of infra red leds so that the wimote can see them and work out it's position relative to them so if you have a screen on the stage on the front of the stage would be fine, don't forget to change the settings in the wii especially if it's been used with the bar on top of a tv before. The wiimote has a camera at the front of it. Ben
