Admiral208 Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Ive seen a lot of videos on you tube and similar that is a recording of someone elses screen. The one function that I like but cannot seem to find in any software is the ability to zoom in and out. On some videos ive seen, there is a green box, then the video zooms to that box. What software is this or is it edited after the capture is taken?? Ta James
HC_Netman Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 ZoomIt You could try this?? I personally have never used it but I think it should do what you want if used in conjunction with some screen recording software.
mdrabble Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Camstudio is ok and is open source..... CamStudio - Free Screen Recording Software or Camtasia if you fancy shelling out money TechSmith | Camtasia Screen Recorder Software, Home
FN-GM Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Have a try at Wink - Wink - [Homepage] It might be able to do what you want.
JPS Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Camtasia is good. I used it when I created how to . . tutorials. About £100 but if you are going to do quite a bit then well worth it I reckon.
teejay Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 If you have Microsoft Expression Studio 4 (there are ways to get this free in schools), the Encoder Screen Capture program will do this.

Elison Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I tryed the trial Camtasia. It has what you need: zoom in and zoom out. Also it has a lot of useful functions like recording video from your screen, adding tutorials, arrows with notes, and many other options. However its rather expensive and I should say it needs much resourses. I have 1 Gb ram on my pc and sometimes CamtasiaStudio got a little bit slow. Anyway I reccomend you to try it Tutorials for Camtasia Studio p.s. Wink is good for recording and editing your video but it doesnt have funcuion zoom in and out. http://www.debugmode.com/wink/
