mattx Posted January 28, 2011 Author Posted January 28, 2011 We'll have to meet up. The missus reckons she's coming with me but I'm trying to persuade her to stay at home in case it all kicks off. Top man - we arrange meet ups etc when you pop on down for those monitors. I don't think this one will kick off - if it does I'll do what I did when I was on the original poll tax march - bleeding well leg it !!
LosOjos Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Unison and TUC are organising coaches down. In that case, I'm definitely going to try and come down!

Me too, though I left when they started setting fire to things. Totally out of order - too many nut-jobs there and no excuse for violent disorder like that.

tech_guy Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Eeek, 1990 - where has the time gone? 21 years ago it was. I was just cutting my teeth as a political activist then.
mattx Posted January 28, 2011 Author Posted January 28, 2011 Eeek, 1990 - where has the time gone? 21 years ago it was. I was just cutting my teeth as a political activist then. I was working at Tescos for my sins - earning a whopping £65 a week. Still living at home and expected to pay the same amount of poll tax as Mr Joe Bloggs next door who earnt over £50,000 a year. That's a Tory policy for you.
