We'll have to meet up. The missus reckons she's coming with me but I'm trying to persuade her to stay at home in case it all kicks off.

 

Top man - we arrange meet ups etc when you pop on down for those monitors.

I don't think this one will kick off - if it does I'll do what I did when I was on the original poll tax march - bleeding well leg it !!

don't forget, for maximum publicity go down in there a wheelchair and get mattx to push you into the police and watch you get dragged away :whistle:

Wow, you were there as well! Me too, though I left when they started setting fire to things. Totally out of order - too many nut-jobs there and no excuse for violent disorder like that.

Eeek, 1990 - where has the time gone? 21 years ago it was. I was just cutting my teeth as a political activist then.

 

I was working at Tescos for my sins - earning a whopping £65 a week. Still living at home and expected to pay the same amount of poll tax as Mr Joe Bloggs next door who earnt over £50,000 a year. That's a Tory policy for you.
