Hi,

Can someone tell me if i'm allowed to share purchased ipad apps between multiple ipads? we have 10 ipads at the school and i'm wondering if for example teacher A buys a app for geography and then teacher B who is also a geography teacher wants the app. Is it fine for teacher A to share with B or does teacher B have to buy this app again?

Or can someone just give me an email address to contact apple please and i'l ask them directly

I cant find a email address on the apple site anywhere..

thanks very much

FM-GM: you might be confused with being able to authorise 5 computers with one iTunes account.

Just read the terms and conditions of app sales. You can either (a) use an app on multiple devices if those devices are used by an individual, or (b) use an app on one device if it is to be shared among multiple users on one device.

So in this instance, each device would need it's own app purchased for it.

Thanks guys. Is a shame, but it's what i expected to hear.

Can anyone link me to this in apple's terms and conditions? It's not that i dont beleive you, it's just i want to be able to show proof incase any staff member thinks what i'm saying is untrue.

Thanks again for the help.

I'm working in a Primary school about to buy about a dozen iPads and have been looking up the same issue on Apple site and iTunes. I contacted them on the apple site using their 'live chat' and was given a number for Apple Education and also went to iTunes billing support page where after submitting a query got an email with a link to the iTunes request page to add a request about adding a volume discount option like they have in the US. (I wasn't allowed to post the link as it's first time I've posted :( but basically it's apple site then feedback then itunes)

I have put in a request in the hope (maybe I'm naive) that if enough people request it - then they'll do it. So, in short, not a lot of help for now. They also gave me a number for Apple Support in US for this particular issue but I'm not sure what that would achieve seeing as it clearly states it's for US only in term & conditions.
