Also - can someone point me to a link in regards to controlling the ADMX files for it via a Vista / Windows 7 PC ? [ If this is possible ] On double checking it seems there are some ADM files...... SYNACK Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 (edited) Installing and Using the Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT) for VistaTips & Tricks : Group Policy Preferences in a Windows 2003 Domain (and a Windows 2008 Domain) We did the whole manage Vista GPOs from a workstation thing on 2003 ages ago and it worked fine, should be the same with 7/Office 2010 ADMX files if you want to use them because the settings are just a blob of reg configuration so the backend server does not matter much (so long as its Windows). I think that I read somewhere on the forum that some people had issues with certain things like drive hideing as Office 2010 uses much newer file open dialogues which don't pay attention to those settings in XP.
