Purple Sky at Night

Weirdly I looked out the front door today and the sky was purple, madness. I've heard of red sky at night but purple? It only lasted for a short period of time and I got a photo just as it was fading away. Now I know that Little-Miss likes purple but messing with the skys over Auckland, I really wonder where she found the colour settings for it

That one's a few years old, looking out of the gate at my mums about 6am one summers morning with a cuppa and my Astra in bits after working on it all night. I thought it was a) rather pretty and b) possibly a hallucination..heh
