Hi,

Wondering if anyone can give me a few pointers. We are trying to set up a box for SCCM 2007 to use as it is required to deploy the new forefront protection 2010.

So far, I've got the server set up, with a management point, which from Collections > All Systems, I can see all of the domain computers. If I click on install client, this then happens (as far as I am aware) and if I go to the machine which I believe that I have installed it on, I see the four extra things in control panel (configuration manager, run advertised programs, etc)

If I go back to the Configuration Manager Console however, client still says no and approved says N\a.

Does anybody know that I'm doing wrong. After days of playing with this I feel that it's so close!!!

Any help would be really appreciated.

Cheers, Ed

Same here! I had hundreds of machines that listed the client as NO, but if i right clicked the workstation in collections and chose properties, i could see all the information about the machine. This lead me to believe that it was some issue with the reporting back of the client and just ignored it as software installation worked anyway

Deano's right. It is a fault in the client reporting back to the server. Usually, as long as you can confirm the client is installed, as you have done, then it works as it should.
