kennysarmy Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 We've started to get a spate - 10 in the last few days (out of 800 clients) that have started to put the monitor in to power save mode - but seem unwilling to come out of it. A computer restart seems to be the only cure. We are going to start logging motherboard / monitor type to try and isolate a pattern. Anyone ever experienced anything similar? We have screensave set to kick in after 10mins and monitor to turn off after 20 mins - I presume their is a GPO setting that can turn the monitor setting to "none"? Regards.
hornetwfc Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Yes we had this problem with a recent batch of new computers. The fix was to update the BIOS. Good luck.
