Bloxx web filtering?

Does anyone use this?

 

Looking at different web filtering services, including smoothwall (Waiting for them to get back to me), and Bloxx was mentioned.

We trialled bloxx and smoothwall and ended up going for smoothwall.

 

It was cheaper and we thought had more of an impact in terms of what it blocked compared to bloxx. We've had no issues with it since installation (have just got a UTM-300 firewall from them too) and generally find them to be very good in all aspects (support, after sales, sales etc).

 

 

Bloxx was ok, fairly easy to use (in fairness less complicated than Smoothwall) etc but once you have used smoothwall for a short time it is easy enough and if you do have q's, their support will answer them for you

We use it here - just coming to the end of our three year agreement in Summer, and I've already renewed and upgraded to an enterprise level box.. can't fault it really, and tech support is excellent.

smoothwall is the way to go. Had a play at bett with smoothwall, bloxx and netbox blue (is that the name?! lol). Smoothwall came out top

+1 for Smoothwall. We looked at Bloxx, Smoothwall and Websense and not only were Smoothwall cheaper they were the better product for us

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys - the one thing i'll say about Smoothwall is we have the best customers
