macca Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 has anyone got an idea on how i can get a dual screen on my Dell optiplex gx620 because it is a tiny case and a standard size agp will not fit any ideas i have to 19inch tfts ready to be connected it has a agp slot can not seem to find a card thats short enough
steveg Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Assuming its just a low profile case, you should be able to fit one of http://uk.insight.com/apps/productpresentation/index.php?alert=categoryresults&product_id=XFXOA04Y4W along with one of http://uk.insight.com/apps/productpresentation/index.php?alert=categoryresults&product_id=XFXOA054AF Most of the XFX range or cards can be converted to low profile with that kit, have a look at their website. This will then give you one DVI and one vga output, although it does mean you cannot use the pci slot next to the agp slot (the kit uses the back plate from both slots to give the 2 outputs). I've just installed these in a dell optiplex GX240 with no problems. Steve
Busybub Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 GX260s use AGP GX620s use PCI-E Make sure you buy the right card!
