GoldenWonder Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 We seem to be unable to use google maps on XP machines running IE7 or 8. On W7 IE8 works fine and on the XP machines Firefox works fine so I guess its not a filtering issue. The problem is that they get an error (Object Expected) in the toolbar as soon as they navigate to maps.google.com- from then on the zoom doesn't work and you can't get directions. I've done all the stuff google suggest (clearing the cache yada yada) but that unsuprisingly hasn't made much difference! Anyone come across this? A web search seems to show lots of issues with few solutions.
Sheridan Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Got the same problem with IE7, IE8 and now IE9 here as well. And Firefox doesn't work either! Reverted to Bing maps now as google have no solutions and their forums are littered with unanswered issues.
