Interactive Window Station

Hi,

Had someone who has uninstalled the USB drivers from a laptop (not in a school).

When I try to reinstall the drivers It can locate them but I get the message: "This operation requires an interactive window station".

I have removed Macafee incase that was stopping it but still the same.

Any ideas please ?

By chance are you logged into the PC remotely? (RDP/VNC)

No, its logged on properly

Disable System Restore on C: ! It is doing 'clever' things with drivers etc so that Windows can't find them... As can be seen by the multiple copies of the usbstor.* files (base usb drivers) under System32 and subfolders.
