SENIOR IT TECHNICIAN

 

APT&C Scale 4 (£16,137 - £17,469, 37 hrs per week full time) pending job evaluation.

 

The successful applicant will lead a team of three supporting the IT systems within the school under the guidance of the Network Manager. The candidate will have excellent IT knowledge with a friendly and outgoing personality.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a very highly regarded specialist Maths and Computing College. Some of the main duties include:

 

=> Installing and maintaining hardware on the network (supported by the IT technicians).

 

=> Supporting users on the network.

 

=> Support the IT Technician in our partner primary schools.

 

=> Assisting in/delivering training to staff.

 

=> Assist in the planning and implementation of changes to elements of the ICT service.

APT&C Scale 2 (£13,854 - £14,523, 37 hrs per week term time only, reduced pro-rata) pending job evaluation.

 

 

 

The successful applicant will work in a team of four supporting the ICT systems within the school and the networks within our partner primary schools. This post is to cover maternity leave.
