Up until 'recently' or install Autograph was working perfectly. We have had a visit from a member of the Maths Department because Autograph is now failing to start properly.

I say 'recently' because I am sure that Autograph has not been called upon for quite some time in the computer suites.

There is a fix but it requires us to visit each machine that has the issue in turn and add an exception in Data Execution Prevention for Autograph.

Is there a way of doing this centrally/via Group Policy?

Many thanks.

Hello DaveP

You need to put a group policy preference in place to edit the registry

Action Replace
PropertiesHive HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Key path SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers
Value name C:\Program Files\Autograph\agraph.exe
Value type REG_SZ
Value data DisableNXShowUI

Hope this helps
