DLW13 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Hi, Does anyone know of any software that monitors the usuage (Pages printed) of locally attached printers (USB, Parallel) over all the computers over a network? Thanks
SimpleSi Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 You could stick PaperCut Print Logger - a free print log monitor for Windows - PaperCut on each client with a printer and maybe configure it to upload logs to server - worst case you'd have to go around and run it now and again to get info. regards Simon
luismor Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 I would use the dude with snmp querys but will take a look to Papercut
DLW13 Posted December 6, 2010 Author Posted December 6, 2010 Thanks for the replies! I have used HP Jetadmin with the Local printer discovery plug-in, so I have a list of IP address' and host names that have locally attached printers. How can I get the print usage information?
