elsiegee40 Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I have been up since 6am to update the school's status on the website, twitter and the radio stations. KMFM - wonderful online system done in seconds Heart - took about 5 minutes to get through on phone Radio Kent - 75 minutes later and I'm STILL getting the engaged tone! Surely the BBC's massive resources would be capable of organising online reporting. Their much smaller competitor has done it! I want to go back to bed and I can't!
beeswax Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I know this won't come as much comfort to you, but this Number Crunch from Private Eye might put the whole thing in context, 40p Cost per day of BBC TV licence £1.86 Cost per minute of watching Audley Harrison being defeated by David Haye in under eight minutes on Sky pay-per-view this month
GREED Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Entertainment factor is about even between the two :/
tommej Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Entertainment factor is about even between the two :/ O_O What.
SteveBentley Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Wish schools phoning into Radio Leeds would just give the school name - the closure list takes twice as long as is necessary because so many have a superfluous "specialist $foo and $bar college" appended to the name.
