Does anyone know where i can get 2mm (diameter) nuts from?

They are to secure VGA connections onto a metal plate for a projector break out box. The nut is to fit a thumb screw securer (i have no idea what they are called but they are hexaganol and are placed next to each port on back of the machine, i suppose securing screws).

I have attached a pic of what it looks like and basically i need a nut for one of these.

Can anyone help? Like i said, i think they are 2mm.

I've a feeling that they are BA rather than metric. I've always called them "bail posts" but don't know where that comes from. Upon some research, it looks more like a No4 UNC. Close to a M2.5 (might fit) that you should be able to get from a D&T dept. Edited by Andrew_C

If you get stuck and have spares of those I'm pretty sure they screw into themselves :)

Ahha, you have just hit the nail on the head... screw them into them selves... At the end of the day all they are doing is holding vga ports in place.

Thanks!

Can you not re-use them off old kit? We've got loads of old VGA cards with those on. If I need a pair of nuts in a hurry i just whip them off an old card. Oo-er missus, I say, etc.

I need normal nuts not the things in the picture. I need a nut (a normal nut) to fit these.

I've got those on old cards too. Plenty of nuts here.
