Help please

Hey guys and girls,

 

I'm going to be on question time tonight and I need help to think of a question to ask the panel. This week’s panel include Ken Clarke MP, Lord Chancellor; Paddy Ashdown, former Leader of the Liberal Democrats; Gloria de Piero, Labour MP; Simon Wolfson, Chief Executive of Next. What question could I ask them?

I'd focus on school cuts, why not raise the issue regarding the spending cuts on interschool PE comptititions.

Ask why the government feels it needs to try and solve the debt problem in such a short time (hense making all the cuts!). It's like saying I have 10,000 loan to pay, i could spread over 5 years and live comfortably, or I could try and pay in 1 year and live on bread and water...

"Please explain how it would be good for our country to remove funding and support for Uni students, reduce the number of university places by 40%, then increase fee's 3 fold, while reducing the benefits to those who are unable to find a job, and doing nothing whatsover to improve the massive void in prices for low cost housing."

 

(as a side note, my local university, in this time of lack of funding is in the process of building MORE student accomodation.... At a time when noone can afford to goto university and there aren't enough places, they are almost doubling their student accomodation!)
