the_one_that_cant Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Since some software has been installed via GPO on a few of my networks, pc's are getting a few 'Programs have stopped responding' errors when logging off. I need to document these to pass on to the 'developer' of the installed software as proff that it is happening. But it doesn't always happen every time. Normally I would just do a print screen and paste in, but because the system is logging off, it will not keep the item on the clipboard so that I cannot paste it and save. Does anybody know of any magic software that I can download for free to grab these troublesome errors, or am I going to have to use my ninja skills and grab it using my phone's camera, if I am quick enough? Cheers.
cpjitservices Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Event Viewer - look in there you'll be able to see what happens during startup , logom, logoff and shutdown.
FN-GM Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 You could install VNC onto the machine. Then from your computer remote into it and grab the screenshot from your machine.
