johno Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 i am new tothin computing and realise that its importance in business computing. i need to know which are the top 2 best suppliers of thin client systems in terms of pricing and reliability. we are big on security so thats another factor too. Please help!
Axel Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Axel are in the top three in UK in terms of volume, and we would argue our devices are the most secure as our devices have no operating system, so local usernames or passwords, or any possibility of virus attack etc. If you route around Edugeek you will find lots of positive comments from Axel users. I'd be happy to discuss your requirements or loan a terminal for evaluation - [email protected] 0845 225 2822

SpuffMonkey Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Hi Johno If you are really struggling - I'd strongly suggest you talk to a firm that can do all this stuff for you. We've used Dataspire Dataspire: Innovative IT solutions provider to public and private sector organisations across the UK. here in the past - and have always found them helpful. You're welcome to come over and see our setup if you need.

linescanner Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Johno, It is hard to say which are the top 2 suppliers, all the main vendors have good points and bad points. A lot will depend on what it is you want to do with the system. It is hard to go over all this in a web post. You are much better off having a chat with people who know and have extensive experience in the field. The technologies out there are good, but it is all about expectation management. Working out where thins fit and more importantly where they do not. I am more than happy to have a chat with you about stuff (No hard sell) just to give you some pointers and things to think about. Drop me a PM if you would like a chat sir.
