Kevin_Beaumont Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 All I've found the official AutoCAD viewer is, well, kinda crappy. It's absolutely huge, and appears to need admin rights to work properly. Our users want this, and we use Windows Server 2003 terminal services, so I was wondering - does anybody out there use other Autocad/DWG viewers? Thanks muchly!
netadmin Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 We use AutoDesk TrueView 2011 (Autodesk DWG TrueView (Includes DWG TrueConvert) - DWG Viewer and Converter) on our Windows XP machines. I do not give our users admin rights and no one has reported any problems using it yet. We do not use terminal services though. 1

It looks like a newer version than the one we last tried (think it was Trueview 2010) so it might work, not sure how terminal services will like DirectX and dual core system requirements though!
