RabbieBurns Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Off to see them tonight.. a poor mans Prodigy, but the new album is pretty decent.. Should be a good show.. No in-thread playing of youtube any more?
Hawkeyez Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I like them also, seeing them in Nottingham soon. Saw them down at the Warriors Festival in the Summer, on before the Prodg The Island Part 1 and 2 are great live Gary
RabbieBurns Posted November 5, 2010 Author Posted November 5, 2010 They would have been an awesome warm up for the prodigy! Lookin forward to tonight.. Never knew they were an aussie band either.. from Perth apparently..
tommej Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Can't listen to anything but the first album. Saw them live at reading though and it was awesome - just not a fan of the newer stuff!
mjs_mjs Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Saw them at sonisphere before iorn maiden. Alot of people were bouncing to them, but t'was a weird sight. There not bad live, and i like Rob's production but i think they've aimed tooo poppy and not enough dub/dnb.
Pyroman Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Saw them in doncaster a few months back, Saturday night was pendulum then monday night was faithless at the same venue, what a weekend that was!
DAZZD88 Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I saw them at Leeds this year and they were excellent. I'm by no means a Pendulum fan (I don't have their albums and know virtually none of there songs, bar the most popular) but I liked their performance. Also In the NME tent, some guy was pretending to be Spiderman by climbing one of the scaffoling columns holding up the tent and he did a pretty good job.
TopBanana Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 loved there first album now everything they do seems to sound the same lol
ZeroHour Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I have to say I am feel the same about them, they first album was good but I felt later stuff got a bit to pop audience happy. I have seen them live in Aberdeen as well of all places but it was a very good show.
Little-Miss Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I remember seeing them at drum and bass raves where they started lol!!
LiamH Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 (edited) Must have been stood near you Dazz because I saw spider-man too I prefer Pendulum to Prodigy atm (seen both live) mainly due to burning myself out on prodigy by listening to it so much/long. They are awesome live though. I always feel sorry for Rob Swire, he does most of the work but the front-man gets a lot of the attention, he does a good job of getting the crowd going though And to be fair there remix of voodoo people is better somehow and master of puppets ;x Edited November 5, 2010 by LiamH
LosOjos Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Saw them in a tiny club in wolverhampton a few years ago (canal club, if anyone wondered) and they were great
DAZZD88 Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Must have been stood near you Dazz because I saw spider-man too I was at the back, just inside the tent at the right hand side. I was trying to look cool by mixing in with some black guys and look cool but I fear I looked a bit like Vanilla Ice. Lol.
mjs_mjs Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 (edited) some vids for people http://www.youtube.com/user/pendulumlive Edited November 5, 2010 by mjs_mjs first link was wrong.

I was backish, left (if looking at the stage) Had to leave the front when Enter Shikari came on just me my mate and his girlfriend, she wasn't too keen on the mental-ness lol
RabbieBurns Posted November 6, 2010 Author Posted November 6, 2010 great gig.. I prefer the prodigy to be honest but more cos of the old school rave stuff.. pendulum rocked it last night.. drummer was awesome, should have given him a bit of a solo i reckon.. took some photos but I thnk I need to learn how to use my camera Pendulum | Facebook
