LukeC Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Server 2008 R2 64 bit - master domain controller After running microsoft updates server manager doesnt show any roles or features and shows an error. "Unexpected error refreshing server manager: exception from HRESULt:0x800f0818" We have ran the microsoft system update readiness tool and it provides us this log ================================ Checking System Update Readiness. Binary Version 6.1.7600.20751 Package Version 9.0 2010-11-01 09:32 Checking Windows Servicing Packages Checking Package Manifests and Catalogs Checking Package Watchlist Checking Component Watchlist Checking Packages (f) CBS MUM Missing 0x00000002 servicing\Packages\Package_for_KB2360131_RTM~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.3.mum Checking Component Store Summary: Seconds executed: 61 Found 1 errors CBS MUM Missing Total count: 1 Unavailable repair files: servicing\packages\Package_for_KB2360131_RTM~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.3.mum servicing\packages\Package_for_KB2360131_RTM~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.3.cat" Following this log we have removied these files and downloaded the update again and extracted the files but still no joy. I can just uninstall the updaet as i get an error saying " an error has occured. Not all of the updates were successfully installed." Happy to proivde more informaion if ive missed anything out.
