Print Jobs just pause

Odd problem.

 

Did a Server update today, security patches, etc and all went ok.

 

Server is the Print Server, trouble is with any printer that is installed when a user logs in the jobs get paused. You have to resume to job for it to print.

 

Manually add the printer, on another machine and it prints with no problems! WTF ?

 

Any ideas?

are you using any print management software we had this happen a couple of week ago

We're using PCounter, but it happened to a Printer that was not using a PCounter Port just a standard Printer port.

Uh-oh! Found the problem - Impero v3.0.53 has broken printing - would appear other Impero Schools are experiencing the same problem with the latest release.

 

Panic downgraded ! ;-)

Hey great find! Did you know Impero have resolved this fault? It is on their forum with a title of 'Support Ticket - print server paused printers'.
